Lillian A. Haller , 94, of 110 Haller Road, St. Marys, died on Wednesday, April 6, 2022.
She was born on June 18, 1927 in St. Marys, a daughter of the late Urban and Alvina Hoffman Gregory.
On October 1, 1955, she married the late Ferdinand “Ferdy” Haller, who preceded her in death on December 5, 2001.
Lillian was a lifelong resident of the area and graduate of Central High School. She was a member of the Queen of the World Church, where she had been involved in the choir, as a Eucharistic Minister, and also served as a Lector. Years ago, she had also volunteered at the school cafeteria. Prior to marriage, she had been employed at Stackpole Carbon Company. She was then employed at Ace Vending Company and had worked for a number of years in the bakery at Bi-Lo. She faithfully visited Pinecrest Manor on Thursdays for many years and would pray the rosary with her friends there. She also enjoyed crocheting, sewing, and working crossword puzzles.
She is survived by five children; Ann Trimper and her husband Charles of West Seneca, NY, Mary Compo and her husband Charles of Pittsburgh, Bonnie Kenney of Mooresville, IN, Anthony Haller of St. Marys, and Linda Haller of St. Marys, and by 13 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by six siblings; William Gregory, Gilbert Gregory, Kenneth Gregory, Rose Marie Gregory, Alice Dollinger, and Irene Gregory, all of St. Marys, as well as by numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother; Richard Gregory and by two sisters; Patricia Rollick and Monica Werner.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, April 11, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Queen of the World Church, 134 Queens Road, St. Marys, PA 15857 with Rev. Jeffery Noble, Pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in the St. Marys Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Lynch-Green Funeral Home on Sunday, April 10, 2022 from 2:00-4:00 PM.
