Linda A. Gies

Linda A. Gies , 65, of 1271 S. Michael Road, St. Marys, died on Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh following a lengthy illness.
She was born April 17, 1947 in St. Marys, a daughter of the late Raymond and Bertha Wehler Schneider.
On November 18, 1967 in Queen of the World Church, she married Robert Gies, who survives.
Mrs. Gies was a lifelong resident of the area and a graduate of SMAHS, class of 1965. She was a member of Queen of the World Church and enjoyed reading and caring for others, especially for her parents in their later years. She also enjoyed spending time with her pets and taking care of the dogs.
