Lois A. Pichler , 83, a resident of Elk Haven Nursing Home and formerly of Million Dollar Highway, Kersey, died on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at Elk Haven Nursing Home.
She was born on December 23, 1937, in St. Marys, a daughter of the late Wilber and Marguerite Casperson Rieder.
On October 18, 1957 in Queen of the World Church, she married George Pichler, who preceded her in death in 1988.
Lois was a gradaute of St. Marys High School and a member of Queen of the World Church. Over the years, she was employed at Loblaw's and Metco.
She is survived by two daughters; Patricia Bauer and her husband Doug and Christine Gavazzi and her husband Richard, both of St. Marys, one son; Randy Pichler and his wife Maureen of Kersey, by 5 grandchildren; Randy, Rachael, Lindsay, Katie, and Savanah and by 4 great-grandchildren. She is also survivied by one brother; Jack (Joanna) Rieder of Florida and by numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a sister in early childhood, Karen.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Lois A. Pichler will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 9, 2021 at Queen of the World Church, 134 Queens Road, St. Marys, PA 15857 with Rev. Jeffery Noble, Pastor, officiating.
Interment will be in St. Marys Catholic Cemetery.
Memorial Contributions may be made to a favorite charity.
