Louis S. Morelli

September 24, 1924 — December 23, 2013

Louis S. Morelli , 89, of 1223 Million Dollar Highway, Kersey, died on Monday, December 23, 2013 at his home following a brief illness.

He was born September 24, 1924 in Kersey, a son of the late Lino and Mary Tamburlin Morelli
On June 21, 1947, he married the late Alice Wolack Morelli, who preceded him in death on July 1, 2007
Mr. Morelli was a graduate of Kersey High School and a member of Queen of the World Church.  He served in the U.S. Marines during WWII.  He retired from Keystone Carbon Company after many years of service.  He was a member of the Moose and the American Legion.  He was also a member of the Polka Boosters, and he greatly enjoyed dancing and playing his accordion.  He also enjoyed gardening and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Sister: Betty, Mrs. Tony Rutigliano, Ridgway
In addition to his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Victor and Robert Morelli.
There will be No Visitation.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial which will be Celebrated at the Queen Of The World Church, 134 Queens Road, St. Marys, on Friday, December 27, 2013  at 12:00 PM with Rev. Eric Vogt, O.S.B., as Celebrant.
Burial will be in the St. Marys Catholic Cemetery.
