Louis B. Parisi

Louis B. "Louie" Parisi , 82, of 132 Cherry Road, Kersey, died at his home on Thursday, November 18, 2021 surrounded by his loving family following a lengthy illness.

He was born on March 24, 1939, in Benezette, a son the late John and Anne Benini  Parisi.

On October 24, 1975 in St. Marys, he married Helen Fleming Parisi, who survives of Kersey. Together they shared more than 46 years of love, laughter, and happiness.

Louie was a graduate of Benezette High School and served in the U.S. Army from 1961-1963.  For many years, he was employed by Piper Aircraft in Quehanna and then retired from Keystone Carbon Company.
Always a very patriotic man, Louie was a member of the Dagus Mines Legion and enjoyed showing his support for the military and veterans.
Lovingly referred to as the King of Gadgets, Louie also enjoyed bowling and in his younger years, he liked playing baseball.  He always had a smile and a few friendly words for everyone he met, and most of all, he loved spending time with his family.

In addition to his wife, Helen Fleming Parisi, he is survived by three grandchildren; Jonathan, Alyssa and Dylan and by four great-grandchildren.  He is also survived by two sisters; Ida Canton of Kersey and Roseanne Goblieski of Florida, as well as by numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved son, Ret. Sergeant Major Todd Parisi who preceded him in death on March 29, 2018, twin grandsons; Louie and Bernie, a brother; John Parisi, and by a sister; Millie Swackhammer.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Louis B. Parisi will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 24, 2021, at 2:00 PM at St. Boniface Church, 355 Main Street, Kersey, Pa 15846 with Rev. Ross Miceli, Pastor, officiating.
Military Honors will be accorded by the Fox Township Burial Detail.
Interment will follow in St. Marys Catholic Cemetery.

There will be no public visitation.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Elk County Humane Society.
