Lynn Ann Cunningham , 56, of 120 Carbon Road, St. Marys, died at her home on Saturday, November 8, 2014 surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on September 2, 1958, in St. Marys, a daughter of the late Harold and Doris Goodreau Sherry.

On August 26, 1977, she married John "Jack" Cunningham, who survives.

Lynn was a lifelong resident of St. Marys and a graduate of SMAHS, class of 1976.  She worked at Penn Pallet from its inception with her husband until her retirement.  She then finished her career at Graf Tech.  Pursuant to her career, she was a longtime member of the Society of Human Resource Management.  She was a member of the Emmco East Critical Incident Unit, as well as a member of Elkland Search and Rescue.  She enjoyed going to camp and spending time with her family, especially her granddaughters.

In addition to her husband of more than 37 years, John Cunningham, she is survived by:

Son: Lee Cunningham and his wife Alyssa of St. Marys

2 beloved granddaughters, Jill and Bethany

Sister: Elaine (Bob) Friedl

Sister: Belva Jasper

Sister: LouAnn (James) Donahue

Brother: Anthony "Butch" Sherry and his wife Bonnie

Brother: Brian Sherry and his wife Sandy

Brother: Stephen "Shorty" Sherry and his wife Christine

Mother-in-law: Ruth Cunningham

Numerous nieces and nephews

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Nancy C. Dinsmore on October 4, 2014, a niece, Jennifer Sherry, 2 brothers-in-law, Charles Dinsmore and Bob Jasper and by her father-in-law, Paul Cunningham on August 25, 2014.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Lynn A. Cunningham will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at 12 noon at Queen of the World Church, 134 Queens Road, St. Marys, with Rev. Richard Allen, Pastor, and Rev. Eric Vogt, OSB, concelebrants.

Burial will follow in the St. Marys Catholic Cemetery.

There will be no public visitation.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Community Nurses, Inc, or to the Community Nurses Hospice, Johnsonburg Road, St. Marys, PA 15857.
