Marie T. Gausman

Marie T. Gausman , 91, of 276 N. St. Marys Street, St. Marys, died on Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at Elk Haven Nursing Home following a brief illness.

She was born on May 19, 1923, a daughter of  the late Fred and Margaret Krug Gausman.

Marie was a lifelong resident of the area and a graduate of Central High School, class of 1941.  She retired from Keystone Carbon Company after more than 30 years of service.  She enjoyed watching game shows and cooking shows.

She is survived by one sister, Bertha Knouse, of St. Marys, a niece, Jane, Mrs. David Shaffer of St. Marys and by a great nephew and a great great niece.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Clarence "Butch" Gausman.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Marie T. Gausman will be celebrated on Saturday, August 23, 2014, at 10:00 AM at St. Marys Church, Church St., St. Marys with Rev. Alfred Patterson, OSB, officiating.

There will be no public visitation.

Interment will be in St. Marys Catholic Cemetery.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the St. Marys Church.
