Mark A. Rhines, Jr.

Mark A. Rhines, Jr. , 34, of 163 Madison Street, St. Marys, died on Sunday, June 6, 2021 in Jones Township following injuries sustained in an ATV accident.

He was born in Pittsburgh on March 25, 1987, a son of Mark Rhines, Sr., and Susan Woodford Rhines, both of Kane.

On June 2, 2012 in St. Marys, he married his high school sweetheart and the love of his life, Alesia Gnan Rhines, who survives of St. Marys.

Mark was a graduate of St. Marys High School, class of 2006.  He earned his CDL certification and together with his wife, was the proud owner of Rhines Logistics as an agent for Landstar Trucking.  Over the years, he had also been employed by Elk County Emergency Services as an emergency dispatcher, and St. Marys Area and Fox Township Ambulance Services as an EMT, all places he had formed many lasting friendships.
Mark was very active with the Masonic Lodge, having earned the 3rd degree and held the position of Senior Warden.  He greatly enjoyed the outdoors, and enjoyed spending time with his family at camp.  Mark was a hard working and dedicated family man who worked tirelessly both for his family and helping others.  Noble, kind, and possessing all the strengths of a true hero, Mark will be remembered for his everlasting love of his family.  He enjoyed nothing more than spending time with them, and his family meant everything to him.

In addition to his parents and his beloved wife, he was an adoring father to his five children; Emily, Rylee, Mark III, Lexi, and Abby Rhines.  He is also survived by many friends.

In honor of Mark's dedicated service to our community, Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, June 10, 2021 at Elk County Office of Emergency Services, 131 Ridgmont Drive, Ridgway, PA 15853.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until the time of the service at Elk County Office of Emergency Services.

Interment will be held privately with the family.
