Martha E. Cheatle
February 29, 1928 — July 13, 2014
She was born on February 29, 1928, a daughter of the late Horace and Martha McGill Horning.
On August 31, 1947 in Emporium Methodist Church, she married Charles L. Cheatle, who preceded her in death in 2004.
Martha was a member of the Presbyterian Church and worked briefly at Sylvania until she became a homemaker. She loved crocheting, playing cards and cooking. She was the last member of her immediate family.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Christopher Cheatle, who preceded her in death in 1999; a daughter Kathleen in infancy, 2 brothers; Charles and George Horning and by 3 sisters; Viola Mercahnt, Vida Gusberti and Lauretta Gale.
A Funeral Service for Martha E. Cheatle will be held on Wednesday, July 16, 2014, at 10:00 AM at Lynch-Green Funeral Home with Rev. Scott Weist, officiating.
Interment will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
