Nadine Facchine

Nadine M. Facchine , 93, of Woodland Road, St. Marys, passed away on Thursday, June 22, 2023, at Penn Highlands Elk surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on May 16, 1930 in St. Marys, a daughter of the late Alfred Stebick, Sr. and Geraldine Kreckel Stebick.

On September 10, 1960, she married the late Leonard Facchine, who preceded her in death on April 19, 2017. Together they shared more than 56 years of marriage.

Nadine was a lifelong resident of the area and member of St. Marys Church. She enjoyed polka music and greatly enjoyed going to dances with her husband. She loved nothing more than sitting on her porch and watching the cars go by. She always loved visiting with people and spending time with her family.

She is survived by 2 children; Donna (Thomas) Ott and Robert Facchine, both of St. Marys. She is also survived by two siblings; Edward (Patty) Stebick and Christine "Teenie" Stebick, both of St. Marys, a sister-in-law; Vera Hetrick of Byrnedale, as well as by numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and her husband; she was preceded in death by five siblings; Kenneth Stebick, Alfred Stebick, Jr., Kathleen Eckert, Joan Herzing, and Leroy Stebick, by a niece; Stephanie Lecker-Garner, and by a nephew; Donny Stebick.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Nadine M. Facchine will be celebrated on Monday, June 26, 2023 at 11:00 AM at St. Marys Church, Church Street, St. Marys, PA, 15857 with Rev. Barnabas, OSB, as celebrant.

Burial will follow in the St. Marys Catholic Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Lynch-Green Funeral Home on Sunday, June 25, 2023 from 2:00-4:00 PM.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the St. Marys Servicemens Burial Detail or the St. Marys Area  Ambulance Service.
