Patrick M. Flanagan

Patrick M. Flanagan , 71, of 106 Valley Road, St. Marys, died on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at Penn Highlands Elk following a brief illness.

He was born on May 19, 1947 in St. Marys, a son the late Joseph and Rita Schauer Flanagan.

On July 1, 1967  in Sacred Heart Church, he married Elizabeth "Betty" Valentine, who survives of St. Marys.

Pat was a lifelong resident of the area and a graduate of ECC, class of 1965.  He was a member of St. Marys Church and retired in 2010 from Keystone Powdered Metal after many years of service.  He enjoyed woodworking and long rides in the country.  Pat was a friend to all, and enjoyed a good chat with his many friends.  He also enjoyed meeting up with his friends at McDonalds for coffee.  He was a skilled electrician who often lended a helping hand to his friends and family.  He looked forward to his nightly can of beer, but most of all, he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

In addition to his of more than 51 years, Elizabeth "Betty" Flanagan, he is survived by a daughter, Shelly Brosky and her husband Paul of Brockway, and by his three grandchildren, Jacqueline, Savannah, and Tim Brosky.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Patrick M. Flanagan will be celebrated on Monday, January 14, 2019, at 11:00 AM at St. Marys Church, 315 Church Street, St. Marys, PA 15857 with Rev. Peter Augustine Pierjok, OSB, officiating.
Interment will be in the St. Marys Catholic Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at the Lynch-Green Funeral Home on Monday, January 14, 2019 from 9:00 AM until 10:30 AM.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the St. Marys Church.
