Paul D. Goetz

Paul D. Goetz , 75, of 208 Bayberry Road, St. Marys, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at his home.

He was born on December 23, 1946, in St. Marys, son the late Charles R. and Marie Daley Goetz.

Paul was a graduate of Elk County Christian High School, class of 1964 and a member of St. Marys Church.  He retired from Sylvania after more than 39 years of service.  He was a member of the PFL, CMF, Eagles, Elks, and the K of C.
Paul liked watching western movies, collecting Zippo lighters, and playing Solitaire.  He also enjoyed trying his luck with a scratch-off lottery ticket or the Powerball, and could often be found enjoying a can of Pepsi.
He never turned down the chance to go for a ride and loved taking his classic Oldsmobile out for a spin.  Most of all, he was a devoted father, grandfather, and brother who loved spending time with his family, especially visits with his sister and granddaughters.

He is survived by one daughter; Megan Bolden and her husband Brandon of St. Marys, his beloved granddaughters; Adelynn and Everly, and by his sister; Kathy Glatt of St. Marys.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother; Richard "Dickie" Goetz.

A Memorial Service for Paul D. Goetz will be held on Monday, February 21, 2022, at 12:00 PM at the Lynch-Green Funeral Home with Rev. Jeffery Noble, officiating.
Interment will be in St. Marys Catholic Cemetery.

Family and friends will be received on Monday, February 21, 2022 from 11:00 AM until the time of the service.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Pinecrest Manor Activities Fund.
