Renee N. Pontious

Renee N. Pontious , 31, of Water Street Ext., Johnsonburg, died unexpectedly on Thursday, September 3, 2015 at her home.

She was born on September 18, 1983, in Casper Wyoming, a daughter of  Vince and Linda Pontious Stockman.

Renee was a graduate of Otto-Eldred High School, class of 2002.  She enjoyed spending time with her daughter and family.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by a daughter, Justine Derouin, at home, a sister, Kristen, Mrs. Cory Frantz of St. Marys, a step-brother, Frederick Stockman and his wife Alicia of Johnsonburg, her maternal grandmother, Peggy Pontious of Ridgway, and by niece and nephews Cassandra, Alexander and Xavier.  She is also survived by a sister, Emily (Eric) Sullivan as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and four nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, James Pontious, paternal grandparents, Frederick and Nancy Stockman, and by an uncle, Steven Stockman.

A Memorial Service for Renee N. Pontious will be held on Wednesday, September 9, 2015, at 11:00 AM at Lynch-Green Funeral Home with Rev. Eric Vogt, OSB, officiating.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until the time of the service.

Interment will be in Parklawn Memorial Gardens.
