Richard M. "Rich" Cavallett
, 59, of 702 Market Street, Johnsonburg, died on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at UPMC Montefiore Hospital in PIttsburgh following a lengthy illness.
He was born on October 15, 1955, a son of the late Walter Cavallett and Twila Clark Cavallett, who survives of St. Marys.
Rich was a lifelong resident of the area and a graduate of SMAHS, class of 1973. He was employed for several years at Stackpole Carbon Company. He had a great love of music and will be fondly remembered for his ability to play the guitar. He was a talented musician who also wrote and recorded his own music throughout the years. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and was a cherished son and brother.
In addition to his mother, Twila Clark Cavallett, he is survived by a sister, Ann Watkavitch and her companion John Bonfardine of St. Marys.
He was preceded in death by his father, Walter Cavallett on August 3, 1981.
Funeral Services were held privately. There will be no visitation.
Interment will be in Parklawn Memorial Gardens.
