Richard A. "Dick" Walker , 82, of 14109 Wilcox Road, Mount Jewett, died on Monday, July 5, 2021 at Elk Haven Nursing Home following a brief illness.
He was born in Emporium, Pa on August 5, 1938, a son of the late Thomas and Lillian Dalrymple Walker.  On February 9, 1963 he married Penny Carlson Walker, who survives.  Together they shared almost 60 years of love, laughter, and happiness.

He retired from Keystone Carbon Company after 42 years of service. Dick was the caretaker of the Clermont Cemetery for many years.  In the 1960's and 1970's, he was a musician in the band called the "Blazers".  In his free time, he enjoyed play ing bingo and loved scratching lottery tickets.  Dick enjoyed gardening and mowing grass and was an avid hunter.  He especially liked hunting with his children and grandchildren.
In addition his wife Penny, he survived by five children; Kim (Tom) Bloom of Corry, PA, Richard " Rick" (Jess) Walker Jr. of Clermont, PA, Denny ( Jodi) Walker of Smethport, PA, Wendy (Mark) Bradshaw of Betula, PA and William "Bill" (Beth) Walker of Clermont and by ten grandchildren; Ashley (Joe) Haines, Dustin (Casey) Hedlund, Brooke Walker, Faith Button, Kylie Bobenrieth, Ashley Bell (Chad), Kayla (Brad) Goodreau, Logan (Kayelyn) Claycomb, Montana Akers, Gillian Walker, and Harley Walker, and by seven great grandchildren. He is also survived three brothers; Eugene Walker of Hazelhurst, Jack (Carol) Walker of Hazelhurst, and Robert (Susan) Walker of Clermont and by one sister; Helen "Susie" Swanson of Kane. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a infant great-granddaughter and by one brother; Allen “Tom” Walker.
A Celebration of Life for Richard A. “Dick” Walker will be held on August 7, 2021, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Seven Mile Campground.  Interment will be in the Clermont Cemetery.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Mount Jewett Ambulance or the Clermont Cemetery.
