Ronald U. Ginther

Ronald U. Ginther , 74, of W. Theresia Road, St. Marys, passed away suddenly at his home on Friday, May 19, 2023.

He was born on March 24, 1949 in St. Marys, a son of the late Urban and Alice Filling Ginther.
On June 3, 1978, he married Debra Dziuba Ginther, who survives. Together they shared more than 44 years of marriage.

Ron was a graduate of St. Marys High School, and then earned his Master's Degree from Toccoa Falls College. Over the years, he worked as a meat cutter, as well as for UPS. He was an avid fisherman who never turned down the chance to go fishing, something he greatly enjoyed with his sons. He also loved Ham radio, and watching various sports on tv. He was a caring husband and father who always enjoyed conversing with family and friends.

In addition to his wife, Debbie, he is survived by 2 children; Jason Ginther and Matt Ginther, both of St. Marys. He is also survived by two siblings; Wayne (Flora) Ginther of St. Marys and Cindy (Don) Wingard of Marion Center, as well as by numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Jo (Salter) Ginther, by four daughters; Brenda, Rhonda, Nancy, and Tracey, and by a sister; Joy Ginther.

Funeral Services for Ronald U. Ginther will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at Elk Baptist Church, 191 Ford Road, St. Marys, PA 15857.

Burial will follow in Earlyville Cemetery in Kersey.

Visitation will be at the Lynch-Green Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM.
