Ronald L. Wolf

Ronald L. Wolf, 73, of 820 Cardinal Road, St. Marys, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at his home.

He was born on April 13, 1948, in Erie, Pa, a son of the late Thomas and Helen Kuffer Wolf.

On June 27, 1986 in Emporium, he married Linda Guido Wolf, who survives.  Together they shared many years of  love, laughter, and happiness.

Ron was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during the Vietnam War and was honorably awarded a Purple Heart medal.  Over the years, he worked as a contractor, and following his retirement, he worked part-time at Arete.  A talented woodworker and cabinet maker, Ron truly enjoyed building and working around his house.  He always made sure his lawn was well cared for, and also enjoyed spending time in the woods, especially hunting.  Most of all, Ron was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather who adored his family.

In addition to his loving wife of more than 35 years, Linda Guido Wolf, he is survived by two children; Jim Wolf and his wife Kim of State College and Janel Wolf of St. Marys, and by his five grandchildren whom he adored; Thomas, Emily, and Morgan Wolf and Collin and Carley Reitz.  He is also survived by a sister; Louise (Patrick) Podoll of Albion, Pa, and by two brothers; Leonard (Sheila) Sauers of Fairview, PA and Richard Sauers of Edinboro, Pa, as well as by several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister; Geraldine Pontious.

A Memorial Service for Ronald L. Wolf will be held on Monday, November 8, 2021, at 11:00 AM at Lynch-Green Funeral Home.
Family and friends will be received from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.
Military Honors will be accorded by the St. Marys Servicemen's Burial Detail.
