Rosalie J. Mosier

June 21, 1945 — September 8, 2017

Rosalie J. "Rose" Mosier , 72, a resident of Pinecrest Manor and formerly of Elco Glen, St. Marys, died on Friday, September 8, 2017 at Penn Highlands DuBois following several years of poor health.

She was born on June 21, 1945, in Gouverneur, NY, a daughter of the late Wilbur and Elizabeth "Betty" Morgan Cronk.

She was married to August G. Mosier, Jr, and he preceded her in death.

Rose was a graduate of Troy High School and worked at various jobs over the years.  She was a hard worker who loved crafts, sewing, birds, and animals.  She enjoyed playing cards and games with her grandchildren.  She led a faith-filled life and her faith was very important to her.

She is survived by a daughter, Aliesha (Arthur, III) Alpaugh of Ridgway and by five grandchildren, Travis Mosier, Remington Alpaugh, Austin Alpaugh, R.J. Alpaugh, and Alia Mosier.  She is also survived by two sisters, Marie (Keith) Rennecke of Ridgway and Margaret (Don) Hall of Florida.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Wilber Cronk, Jr., Richard Cronk, and WIlliam Cronk, and by two sisters, Joyce Lenten and Bonnie Gelwicks.

A Memorial Service for Rosalie J. Mosier will be held on Wednesday, September 20, 2017, at 11:00 AM at Lynch-Green Funeral Home with Pastor Ron Burkett, officiating.
