Rose Anne (Borrello) Adamski
, 84, of 108 Las Glorias Road, St. Marys,and formerly of Johnsonburg, died on Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at the Cleveland Clinic following a brief illness.
She was born on January 26, 1931, in Johnsonburg, a daughter of the late Ralph and Carmella Ieradi Borrello.
On November 17, 1956 at Holy Rosary Church, she married Richard L. Adamski, who survives.
Rose was a lifelong resident of the area and a graduate of Johnsonburg High School, class of 1950. She was a member of the Holy Rosary Church where she had been active in the Rosary Altar Society and where she had also volunteered much of her time. She retired from Keystone Carbon Company after many years of service. She enjoyed Bingo and scratch off tickets, but most of all, she loved and adored her family. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother who greatly enjoyed taking care of her family.
In addition to her husband of more than 58 years, Richard L. Adamski, she is survived by 3 sons, Richard "Mark" (Sharon) Adamski of Apex, NC, John Adamski of Greenville, SC, Joseph (Stacey) Adamski of Kersey, and by 2 daughters, Barbara (Victor) Aiello of Ridgway, and Susan (James) Wimer of St. Marys. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, Beth (David) Brooks, Luke (Brooks) Adamski, Christie (Aaron) Smith, Christopher Adamski, Jessica (Doug) Carnahan, Victor Aiello, Emily Aiello, Abigail Adamski, Allison Adamski, Andrea Adamski, Olivia Wimer and Danny Wimer as well as by 4 great-grandchildren, Aaron, Isabella, Vincent, Roman and one great grandchild on the way.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Samuel Borrello and Vincent Borrello, and by 3 sisters, Mary Perantoni, Joanne Kasper and by a sister in early childhood, Teresa Borrello.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Rose Anne Adamski will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 4, 2015, at 12:00 PM at Holy Rosary Church, 606 Penn Street, Johnsonburg, with Rev. David Wilson, Pastor, officiating.
Interment will follow in Holy Rosary Cemetery.
There will be no visitation.
Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
