Stephen A. Haynoski

Stephen A. Haynoski , 75, of 945 Plymouth Road, St. Marys, died peacefully at his home on Thursday, December 30, 2021 following a brief illness.

He was born on March 22, 1946, in Salamanca, NY, a son of the late Frank and Frances Spencer Haynoski.

Steve was a graduate of Salamanca High School and served in the U.S. Army Reserves.  Brought to the area with his position at Lablaw’s, Steve also bartended for many years at the Bavarian Hills.  He was a longtime member of the CMF and PFL.  He enjoyed reading a good Western novel, and also enjoyed hunting.  A dedicated and avid Cleveland Browns fan, there wasn’t much that Steve enjoyed more than watching his team play, rooting them on, and the comradery of his friends in town that were also Browns fans.  Most of all, he loved and cherished his family.

He is survived by two sons; Gary Haynoski of St. Marys and Sean Haynoski of Warren, OH and by one granddaughter; Dakota Haynoski.  He is also survived by four siblings; Ken (Judy) Haynoski of Rochester, NY, Ronald (Kim) Haynoski of Syracuse, NY, John (Deb Haynoski of Allman, NY, and Cindy (Larry) Haines of Kilbuck, NY, as well as by numerous nieces and nephews.  He is also survived by two step-daughters; Wendy Young and Kim Byrd and their families.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers; Tom Haynoski and Jeff Haynoski.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Stephen A. Haynoski will be celebrated on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church, 337 Center Street, St. Marys, Pa 15857.

Military Honors will be accorded by the St. Marys Servicemen’s Burial Detail.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at the Sacred Heart Church from 9:30 AM until the time of the Mass.
