Tammy L. Friedl
, 52, of 612 Virginia Road, St. Marys, died on Friday, January 18, 2013 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh.
She was born March 5, 1960 in St. Marys, a daughter of the late Donald F. Hanes and Martha Krug Hanes, of St. Marys.
On May 9, 1981 in St. Marys Church, she married Joseph Friedl, who survives.
Tammy was a member of St. Marys Church and the Queen of the World Rosary Altar Society. She graduated from Elk County Christian High School, class of 1978. She worked at Metaldyne in St. Marys for many years. She was an active member and volunteer at the Humane Society and she also enjoyed gardening. She was a member of the St. Marys Bowling League and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Most of all, she enjoyed her 3 Scotty dogs and was a member of the Scotty Friends of Cincinatti. Known for her generosity, she gave the ultimate gift of life by being an organ donor.
