Thomas R. Cunningham

Thomas R. Cunningham , 59, of Bradford and formerly of St. Marys, died unexpectedly on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at his home.

He was born on July 6, 1957, in St. Marys, a son of the late Edward J. (Sr.) and Catherine Schager Cunningham.

Tom graduated from St. Marys Area High School and was a resident of Bradford since 1984.  He was a member of the YMCA and enjoyed music, especially rock and country.  He also liked to play the guitar and lift weights.

He is survived by three sisters, Carol A., Mrs. John Dippold, Mary Kay, Mrs. George Gausman, and Laura L., Mrs. Kevin Karoleski, and by three brothers, Edward J. Cunningham and his wife Brenda, Robert P. Cunningham and his wife RoAnn, and Philip S. Cunningham and his wife Paula, all of St. Marys.  He is also survived by seven nieces and eight nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant brother, John Edward Cunningham and by a nephew, Chad J. Cunningham.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Thomas R. Cunningham will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 30, 2016, at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church with Rev. Eric Vogt, O.S.B., officiating.
Interment will follow in the St. Marys Catholic Cemetery.

There will be no visitation.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Sacred Heart Church or to a charity of choice.
