Thomas J. Piccolo

Thomas J. Piccolo , 34, of 125 Rightmeyer Street, St. Marys, died on Sunday, September 13, 2015 at his home following complications from diabetes after several years of poor health.

He was born on September 26, 1980, in St. Marys, a son of the late Jerry Piccolo and Gayle Snyder Piccolo, who survives.

Tom attended St. Marys Area schools and had worked for Ricochet Trucking, St. Marys Equipment as well as several other trucking companies.  He had a great love for animals, especially his beloved cats, Snickers and PeeWee.  He greatly enjoyed fires in the backyard and time spent with his family and friends.  He also enjoyed playing the drums and playing cards.

In addition to his mother, Gayle Snyder Piccolo, he is survived by a brother, John (Becky) Piccolo, three sisters, Barb (Greg) Mahoney, Debby (George) Young, and Kelly (Seth) Hall, all of St. Marys.  He is also survived by his maternal grandfather, Thomas Snyder of St. Marys, four nephews, Zachary, Andrew, Aaron and Adam, his wife, Sarah Smith Piccolo, and by several aunts, uncles and cousins.

In addition to his father, Jerry Piccolo, who preceded him in death on June 20, 2015, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Betty Snyder and his paternal grandparents, Joseph and Monica Piccolo.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Thomas J. Piccolo will be celebrated on Friday, September 18, 2015, at 12:00 PM at Sacred Heart Church, 337 Center Street, St. Marys, PA 15857 with Rev. Eric Vogt, officiating.
Interment will follow in St. Marys Catholic Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the Lynch-Green Funeral Home on Friday, September 18, 2015 from 10:00 AM until 11:30 AM.
