Wallace "Rocky" Smith

Wallace J. "Rocky" Smith, 76, of 134 Penn Road, St. Marys, died on Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at Elk Haven Nursing Home.

He was born February 17, 1937 in St. Marys, a son of the late Elwood and Margaret Engert Smith.

On May 21, 1960 in St. Boniface Church, he married Diana Carrara Smith, who survives.

Mr. Smith was a lifelong resident of the area and a graduate of Central High School, class of 1955.  Her served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.  He attended Ora Jean Barber School and owned and operated Rocky's Barber Shop for many years, retiring in 2009.  He was a member of the K. of C. and the American Legion.  He enjoyed hunting, i
