Wilfred J. "Willie" Fritz , 96, of 74 Erie Avenue, St. Marys, died peacefully on Saturday, December 25, 2010 at his home.

He was born July 26, 1914 in St. Marys, a son of the late William and Clara Meyer Fritz.
He was married to Magdaline "Mae" Trunzo, who preceded him in death on May 31, 1992.
On November 10, 1995 in St. Tobias Church in Brockway, he married Theresa Markley Fritz, who survives.

Mr. Fritz was a lifelong resident of St. Marys and was a member of St. Marys Church.  He worked in the shipping department at Stackpole Carbon Company and retired after more than 50 years of service.  He was a life member of the CMF and an honorary life member of the Elks Club.

Daughter: Ethel V. Brouse who preceded him in death on July 10, 1995
Son: in infancy
2 Great Grandsons: Ronald Brouse and one in infancy
2 Brothers: William and Robert Fritz
2 Sisters: Helen Dorsey and Edna Schutz

A Mass of Christian Burial for Wilfred J. "Willie" Fritz will be celebrated at the St. Mary's Catholic Church, 139 Church Street, St. Marys, on Wednesday, December 29, 201 0 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Meinrad Lawson, O.S.B., as celebrant.  Burial will follow in the St. Marys Catholic Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Lynch-Green Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.

Memorial Contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
