William "Beagle" Auman

William Q. "Beagle" Auman , 84, of 445 Benedict Street, St. Marys, died with his family by his side on Friday evening, November 11, 2011 at his home following a brief illness.
He was born June 26, 1927 in St. Marys, a son of the late John R. and Genevieve M. Dippold Auman.
On June 20, 1964 in St. Joseph's Church in Force, he married Angeline "Angie" Panighetti Auman, who survives.
Mr. Auman was a member of St. Marys Catholic Church and was a veteran of WWII, having served in the Army during WWII. He retired in 1988 from Stackpole Carbon Company after more than 41 years of service. He was a Boy Scout leader and a member of the St. Marys Sportsmen's Club and the American Legion. He was an avid hunter and i
