William J. Clever, 93, of Sena-Kean Manor in Smethport and formerly of Elco Glen in St. Marys, died on Saturday, May 5, 2012.
He was born Aug 11, 1918 in Apollo, PA, a son of the late Joseph and Hannah Fryar Clever
He was married to the late Irene Painter Clever, who preceded him in death in 1981.
Mr. Clever was Bapist by faith and had attended the First Baptist Church in Galeton. He was a longtime veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in both World War II and the Korean War and was discharged in 1960 after more than 18 years of service to our country. He was the service manager at Harpster Chevrolet in Warriors Mark, PA, for many years. He later lived in Potter County, where he greatly enjoyed hunting and i
