William T. Johnson

William T. Johnson , 79, of 824 Cardinal Road, St. Marys, died on Thursday, March 17, 2011 at Elk Regional Health Center following a brief illness.

He was born March 17, 1932 in Allport, a son of the late Arthur and Edna Plowman Johnson.
On June 22, 1956 in Morrisdale, PA, he married JoAnn Pierce Johnson, who survives.

Mr. Johnson was an active member of Morrisdale Methodist Church and later at First United Methodist Church in St. Marys.  He was a veteran of the US Army, having served in Japan during the Korean War.  He worked at Pure Carbon for 10 years and then at Kersey Tool & Die where he later became a co-owner.  He enjoyed gardening, fishing and woodworking and was well known for his ability to i
